Opportunities for African Children (OAC) a mission project of Kingdom Mission International, seeks to empower at-risk children of Africa (individuals below age eighteen - UN provision) by meeting their needs through the presence of God.

Since the recent take-off of OAC, seventeen of the candidates enlisted completed vocational training – nine (9) in catering, two (2) in hair styling, five (5) in fashion designing and one (1) in upholstery work. Others are still in training.

On going recruitment of candidates is guided by carefully defined criteria of age, needs assessment, family situations, commitment to total participation and candidate's personal preferences among others.

By design, the project has a built-in evaluation process. Number of the participants is verifiable; training periods are specified; training curriculums are evaluated on long and short term basis. In addition, the project Coordinator prepares concise narrative reports periodically on the project in furtherance of its goals which are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timed.

Apart from funding the vocational training, we provide a meal a day, on-going supportive counselling, spiritual / moral guidance and start-up equipment for the candidates. Therefore, upon completion of training, they commence practice of their respective vocations and thus move on generally in life.

In view of the enormous attending need of this project, Kingdom Mission International seeks support from all and sundry. Together we can impact the future of Africa.

Please find ways to support OAC on the donation page while we count on your prayer support as well.
